Hey guys new to the forum, I just recently built a coat hanger HD antenna and saw this guy on youtube who lives in Mississauga and when scanned he got like 75 channels or something. However, when i scan i get like 12. Out of which only 5 are actually HD. like i get CBC and CBC HD, CTV and CTV HD. so whatever number of channels i get i divide by 2!!! I am not quite sure why i do not get more channels when i scan. I live in mississauga bordering oakvile on 9th Line and Thomas, My house faces thomas st. At first I placed my antenna as indoor behind TV set and received like 10 channels and now its placed outside on my raised deck/ patio and i receive like... 12 channels!!!!!!! Id like to get ABC TNT and other american channels as well as ones broadcasted from CN Tower. What would i have to do to get more channel listings when i scan.

Any help is greatly appreciated

I live in Oakville and with my indoor antenna I get about 15 channels which include FOX, CBS, NBC, WB, ABC, PBS and all the canadian networks. You might just want to play around with the direction of your antenna.

I have not come close to 75 channels. Can you post the link to that you tube video?
