Toshiba Introduces Blu-ray Disc Player - BDX2100
Delivers improved technological capabilities and incredible consumer incentives
Toshiba of Canada Consumer Electronics Group (Toshiba), a market leader in home entertainment products, introduces its newest Blu-ray Disc player. The new BDX2100 features improved technology with the addition of DivX and an attractive consumer incentive, a three-month free trial membership to Zip.ca, giving consumers everything they need to enjoy the superior quality of high-definition content.
The addition of the official DivX certified product allows consumers to play all versions of DivXvideo with standard playback of DivXMedia files, and a new USB port that allows users to playback external HD-JPEG and MP3 files.
To ensure consumers have the content to start enjoying the benefits of their new Blu-ray Disc player right away, users will enjoy a free three-month trial membership to Zip.ca, valued at almost $75. With the membership to Canada’s leading online movie rental service, consumers will have access to more than 72,000 DVD and 2000 Blu-ray titles.
The BDX2100 also continues to support BD-Live (Profile 2.0), allowing users to take advantage of interactive features through an Ethernet connection. With interactive content enabled on select Blu-ray discs and Bonus View support for picture-in-picture capability, Toshiba’s Blu-ray player offers state-of-the-art home entertainment.
