For those who need to add portability and security when it comes to their flatscreen floor mounts for televisions and displays, the FH MT2000 by Draper could be just what you've been looking for.
Capable of supporting televisions of up to 50-inches in size and 110 pounds (49.9 kgs.) in weight with the included H2 universal bracket, the FH MT2000 is sturdy and strong, while still maintaining a stylish, sleek look care its clean design and black powder coat frame finishing. Additional value-added features include a built-in cable management system, the ability to add more shelving for your accessories, the option to raise the display over a 58-inch range, a three-foot wide base with rack for additional storage space, four lockable wheels when you need to keep things firm and steady, and the ability to add another display (via the purchase of an additional H2 universal bracket) for up to 220 total pounds or 99.8 kilograms worth of weight.
In terms of the assembly itself, this is where I feel that the Draper FH MT2000 pulls ahead of the back, bringing a simple, direct, logical, and streamlined approach to the proceedings. Having disassembled and then reassembled this unit, I can speak first-hand to this. There are about six major pieces involved in this assembly which include the mobile base stand, the pillar/column (86.5 inches of ultra-sturdy, high extruded aluminum), the mounting bracket, the adapter plate, the base shelf, and the optional shelving which can be adjusted to various heights. While you can get most everything assembled flying solo, when it comes time to mount your actual display screen to the bracket and the adapter plate, it would be a wise idea to have an extra set of hands share the load, as some displays – like ours – can lean a bit on the hefty side. Many of the major pieces for the FH MT2000 are designed to slide into place and click securely using a hinged, slipfit system that allows you to make adjustments after the fact. This is a really nice touch that affords you the luxury of not having to start from scratch should you need to make any future adjustments based on the type or size of screen you may be using. Total assembly time took about 20-25 minutes, and once completed, we were able to shift the entire FH MT2000 (with securely attached display) around from room to room with great ease and maximum portability.
